The Solatube Advantage

Solatube Daylighting Systems are known as Tubular Daylighting Devices (TDDs). They capture sunlight using a rooftop dome, then transfer it indoors through a reflective tube that runs from the roof to the ceiling. From there, the light is evenly dispersed into the interior space using a diffuser.
While tubular daylighting devices are sometimes referred to as “tubular skylights” “sun pipes” and “light tunnels”. Solatube Daylighting Systems are more advanced and complex than these names imply. They are the only high-performance daylighting device that use patented optical technologies to significantly improve the way daylight is harnessed and delivered to interiors. Unlike traditional skylights, they do not require reframing, dry walling, tunneling or repainting or days to install. Instead they can be installed in about two hours with little mess or disruption, and at a fraction of the cost.

Brighten Up Series

Smaller commercial spaces—corridors, restrooms, nooks, and others often suffer from lack of natural light because light from windows can’t reach them. Solatube’s Brighten Up Series is the perfect solution for bringing daylight to unexpected, hard-to-reach areas.

Skyvault series

The beauty of the SkyVault is that it’s not just one size fits all. With varying combinations of domes and collectors to capture light with tube extensions to transfer it, and an optional Amplifier to deliver it into the building, the SkyVault Series is a flexible, high-output solution for any large-volume space. In fact, the 29″ SkyVault collector delivers approximately 400% more daylight than any other TDD on the market.
